An adventure in Moravod for mid-level characters and the third part of the Karmodin campaign. After dark, vampires, werewolves, and hostile nature spirits threaten the land, while protective magic and sacred weapons begin to fail. The adventurers become entangled in the schemes of rival vampire lords and the competing interests of human rulers. They investigate the cause of the growing threat, assist in a courtship, and seek to unravel the mystery of the blue sphere surrounding the arch-vampire Mizauitotl. Witch hunters, travelling warriors, and an absent-minded court mage complicate their efforts as the connections between the events gradually emerge.
