In a repressive science-fiction setting, the characters are recruited to help Vyton Khelta rescue his ailing mother from government custody. They must first obtain information from authorities who treat knowledge as a threat, then plan and carry out the extraction. The adventure focuses on investigation, preparation, and the dangers of acting without reliable information. Failure to free the prisoner in time leads to further peril, leaving the characters to deal with consequences they may not be prepared for. Designed for 2D6 science-fiction roleplaying games such as Cepheus Engine and OSRPG.
