What Grows Within
The adventurers cross the deadly Parchlands to reach an abandoned city beside a lake where a Great Old One lies dormant. They track Count Lowls’s party, recover a vile tome, activate the city’s Star Stelae, and perform a ritual that opens a path to Carcosa. Along the way, they must avoid awakening the slumbering entity or releasing the flying polyps sealed beneath the city. This adventure is designed for 13th-level characters and includes new monsters, details on Xhamen-Dor, information about the Necronomicon, and a Pathfinder’s Journal installment.
