A historical low-fantasy adventure set on the island of Öland during Scandinavia’s Vendel Period. The setting presents an Iron Age world where the gods are real, runes hold power, ancestors offer protection, and sentient creatures dwell in forests, barrows, mountains, and beneath the waves. The 42-page scenario describes a detailed wilderness hex with locations, monsters, and inhabitants to explore and encounter. It is compatible with Old-School Essentials and can be used as a complete setting or adapted into an existing fantasy campaign, with additional guidance for a Scandinavian-themed game.
