Players draft and place tiles to expand settlements across a frontier landscape, creating towns, mines, and special locations. Each turn players develop their area, recruit citizens, and resolve conflicts when outlaws and rivals threaten their holdings. Resource management and tile placement drive decisions: send prospectors to mine for wealth, invest in buildings that grant abilities, and use cards to gamble or interfere with opponents. The game combines spatial planning, hand management, and tactical interaction as players compete to grow their territory and score the most points by the end of the game.
