Players hire workers, open construction sites and assign labor to complete medieval buildings. Cards represent either buildings with four skill requirements (carpentry, masonry, architecture, tilery) or workers with matching skill ratings; assigning workers to a site costs money and contributes their skill values toward the building’s requirements. Each turn grants three free actions (additional actions cost coins), and actions include opening a site, recruiting a worker, assigning a worker to a building, or taking money. Completed buildings score points and coins and can sometimes join the player’s labor pool for future projects; coins convert to points at the end of the game when a player reaches the target score.
