Players command rival factions of mythic Irish gods and spread influence across a map of ancient Ireland to score the most points over two eras. Each round the two players and a shared enemy faction take turns: players choose deity tiles (paying worship tokens if needed) to trigger that deity's expansion, movement, or combat abilities, while the enemy faction advances via revealed activation cards. Scoring occurs in eleven regions each era, with first and second place by unit presence earning points; strategic timing, tile selection, and managing the automated enemy clans are central. The game includes multiple map setups, three special asymmetric enemy clans, and optional solo/cooperative play.
