Escape Quest: Au delà du Virtuel

A hybrid adventure book and puzzle game set in a near-future Los Angeles where a massive VR platform malfunctions and users fall into comas. Players read numbered passages and solve a variety of puzzles on each page—combinations, mazes, wordplay, hidden-image challenges—to determine which passage to read next and advance the story. Success depends on observation, logic, and puzzle-solving rather than combat or roleplaying. The narrative follows an investigation into the platform’s AI creator, moving through progressively hazardous virtual environments whose solutions reveal clues to the overarching mystery and the fates of the trapped players.
