Pack the Essentials

Players prepare for a trip by drafting and placing tiles into a shared suitcase grid to pack items, cats, and kittens. On each of twelve rounds, players select tiles from a rotating draft, arrange them to form contiguous sections of colors, and collect cat toys and other scoring elements. Players pursue private and public goals by completing “To Do” list objectives, growing the largest contiguous areas of each color, and using a special Pack Rat Service mechanic to manipulate available tiles. In games with fewer than four players, a simple automated opponent removes tiles from the draft to simulate an extra player. The game ends after twelve rounds and the highest score wins.
