Players take the roles of three protagonists — an exiled priest, the town mayor and a local veterinarian — who investigate escalating paranormal events in a remote Spanish village. The game plays as a cooperative narrative campaign divided into chapters; at the start of each chapter players receive missions to complete while exploring locations, confronting otherworldly threats and uncovering secrets tied to an ancient coin. Players must pursue objectives and manage risks to prevent an antagonistic cult from seizing the coin, with failure allowing the enemy to advance toward a global catastrophe.

It seems to have a lot of randomness but as you play you realize that it can be mitigated a lot and you have to adapt to roll the dice few times which leads you to lose in the long run.
