Welcome To...

Design a 1950s suburban neighborhood by filling in house numbers and choosing actions from shared cards. Each round presents three card combinations showing a house number and a corresponding action; players simultaneously pick one combination, write the number in order on their street sheet, and apply the action to build fences, pools, parks, or hire employees that modify scoring. Actions can alter or duplicate numbers, increase estate values, or advance public objectives. Games play simultaneously and support larger groups, with variable action sets and multiple scoring paths as players race to complete neighborhood goals.

How does the ice cream truck work — can it go through a street more than once?

The ice cream truck goes only once through each street and all missed ice cream orders are therefore lost (Rulebook, p.1).

When do I circle an ice cream cone vs cross it off?

When you write a number and draw the line from the truck to that house, if the truck ends its trip in front of a house with an ice cream cone you circle that cone and then cross off all other ice cream cones on the truck's trip (Rulebook, p.1).

How and when are street bonuses scored?

As soon as you circle or cross off the last ice cream cone of a street you earn a bonus of 1 point for each ice cream cone circled in that street; other players must cross off that bonus but may keep selling in the street (Rulebook, p.1).

What happens when we start the 3rd street — do both ice cream trucks apply?

When you start numbering a house of the 3rd street you must choose which ice cream truck (side) you want and cross off the other, so only one of the two bonuses can apply for that street (Rulebook, p.1).

Do scoops score only for circled cones or also for crossed-off ones?

You earn 1 point per scoop for each ice cream cone that is circled; crossed-off cones do not give scoop points (Rulebook, p.1).

For City Plans, does “sold” mean a circled cone (and does “no cone sold” mean no circled cones)?

Yes — plan requirements that say a house/estate must have cones “sold” refer to ice cream cones that have been circled, and requirements like “without any ice cream cone sold” mean no circled cones in those estates (City Plans, Rulebook, p.1).
