プレイヤーは、5種類の地形を表す六角形の生息地タイルで自分だけのランドスケープを作り、対応するスペースに野生動物トークンを配置します。各ターン、限られた公開エリアから特定の動物トークンと組み合わされたタイルを1枚選び、成長していくマップにタイルを追加して、対応する生息地スペースにトークンを置きます。限られた数の自然トークンを使えば、この組み合わせを無視することもできます。 得点は、各生息地タイプの大きく連続したエリアや、5種類の動物の配置パターンによって決まります。ランダムに選ばれる得点目標によって、どの配置が得点になるかが変化します。手に入るタイルとトークンの組み合わせに適応しながら、空間を計画していくことが重要なゲームです。

Do I have to take a Habitat Tile and Wildlife Token that are already paired together?
Normally, yes. Before choosing, you may spend a Nature Token to take any tile and any token from the display instead (p. 6).
Does a new Habitat Tile have to match the terrain of the tiles next to it?
No. It only has to touch at least one tile already in your environment; matching terrain matters for scoring, not placement (pp. 7–8).
Can I put more than one Wildlife Token on a Habitat Tile, or place a token on a tile that doesn’t show that animal?
No: a tile can hold at most one token, and the tile must show that wildlife as an option. You may place the token on any eligible tile in your environment; if none is available, return it to the bag (p. 7).
What happens if three or four of the displayed Wildlife Tokens are the same?
If all four match, replace all four automatically. If exactly three match, the active player may choose to replace those three, but may do this only once on their turn (p. 6).
What do Nature Tokens let me do, and are unused ones worth anything?
Before selecting a pair, spend one to take any displayed tile and any displayed token, or to replace any number of displayed Wildlife Tokens; you may spend multiple Nature Tokens in a turn. Each one left at game end is worth 1 point (pp. 6, 8).
When does the game end, and does everyone get the same number of turns?
The game ends immediately after a turn when there are no face-down Habitat Tiles left to refill the display. Each player takes exactly 20 turns (pp. 5, 8).
