Pax Emancipation

Players take the roles of abolitionists in the Age of Enlightenment—Parliamentarians, evangelicals, or private philanthropists—working to end slavery worldwide. Players allocate resources and actions to blockade ports, intercept slave ships, found missions and trading posts, pursue legal challenges, and support underground railroads and rebellions. The game supports competitive-cooperative, fully cooperative, and solitaire modes, with players balancing local initiatives and international pressure to change laws and public opinion. Victory comes from successfully undermining and outlawing slavery across multiple regions; defeat occurs if entrenched powers maintain the institution or reform efforts fail.
