Your resource replaces the opponent’s on the field and you must move a penalty from your personal supply to the stock (1 resource if you displaced a trader, 2 if a merchant); the displaced player must then place the displaced piece plus 1 (or 2) from the stock onto an adjacent empty field (if no adjacent empty fields, a greater distance may be used), and shortages are resolved by taking from personal supply or pieces on the board (page 2).

No — the Move Resources activity lets you rearrange up to the number on your Book of Lore but you cannot move Offices between cities or move resources into cities (page 2).

No — a bonus marker cannot be used in the middle of the activity in which it was acquired, but it can be used anytime during your turn thereafter and does not count as an activity; after taking each bonus marker you draw a replacement face down and place it later onto eligible routes (page 2).

You must place a resource from the claimed route into the leftmost available space of an adjacent city (matching square = trader or round = merchant), have the required Privilege color to occupy that space, and you may not skip empty city spaces; if the city has no empty spaces you need the Extra Office bonus marker (page 3).

Control goes to the player with the most Offices in that city, and in case of a tie the player occupying the higher-valued space (the one further to the right) controls the city (pages 2 and 3).

The game ends immediately at the end of the activity that triggered the condition (not mid-activity or necessarily at the end of a turn); any special effects caused by that activity (e.g., opening an Office) are applied before the game ends (page 3).
