Oranienburger Kanal

Players develop an industrial region along a historic waterway, placing industries and extending infrastructure such as pathways, streets, railways, and canals. Bridges play a key role by connecting buildings; players select from a set of actions to build and time their expansions efficiently. Scoring rewards the most effective industrial areas and the most connected infrastructure. A solitaire mode is also included.

In this game players place cards on their board, then activate the cards up to two times once the activation criteria have been met. One is when the card is surrounded by path tokens, the next when the second bridge has been connected to the card from another card. The cards abilities then largely rely on the types of paths that surround it, or their positioning on the grid of your board. All this using a very tight and intuitive 2 player worker placement system. It's Uwe at his finest.
