Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire

Two small warbands fight for control in a compact, tactical arena. Players assemble a band of miniatures, construct a fighter deck and a separate objective deck, and deploy fighters on a gridded board to contest objectives and engage opponents. Gameplay uses unique dice, card-driven actions and a fixed pool of action points each round. Players spend these actions to move, attack, defend and play card effects while managing positioning and synergies between fighters. Matches are short and competitive, with fully customisable decks allowing varied strategies and tournament play.

    Miniature skirmish game PROS - The minis are awesome. CONS - The gameplay feels kinda static. - The idea of scoring cards looks cool, but it drags the whole game and creates weird moments. It takes away some action and cinematic moments and makes it feel more abstract.
