Aliens: This Time It's War

On LV-426, players take opposing sides in a struggle between a squad of Colonial Marines and swarms of xenomorphs. The game uses two asymmetrical 60-card decks and a five-column battle track to represent consecutive melees. Marines field named personnel and high-tech weapons, manage resources and make deployment choices; aliens swarm, ambush and summon powerful units like the Queen at tactical cost. Each card has power and cost values and unique abilities; no icons are used. Play focuses on combat resolution, hand and deck management, and timing costly but decisive plays. Victory comes from either escaping and securing the evac/strike objectives or eliminating and cocooning the opposing force.
