Archaeology: The New Expedition

Players act as archaeologists digging Egyptian dig sites to assemble artifacts, collect treasures and sell sets to a museum for money. On each turn a player draws from the deck to dig—drawing treasure they keep hidden, a thief that lets them steal a card from an opponent, or a sandstorm that forces players to move half their hand to the marketplace (each player has a tent that can cancel one sandstorm). After digging, a player may discard maps to explore one monument chamber and take cards there, trade cards at the face-up marketplace by matching trade value, and sell sets of treasures to the museum. Exploration is limited to once per player; trading and selling can be repeated. Play ends when the deck is exhausted and all players pass, and the highest total cash from sold sets wins.
