Players take the roles of dream-fragments trapped in a Lovecraftian dream world, exploring surreal locales to recover scattered pieces of their shattered selves and uncover hidden story secrets. Play is driven by narrative encounter cards that present branching, roleplay-style choices; outcomes depend on skills, equipment and lore collected. A keycode mechanic and gathered clues open secret storylines and alternate endings, while two character abilities—Deja vu and Lucid Dreaming—offer mechanical advantages. The game supports solo or two-player semi-cooperative play, emphasises resource and skill management, and sends players through many unique encounters where survival, sanity and discovery determine whether a correct key and gate can be found to escape.
