Players compete to develop a harsh alien world by managing resources, launching ships, researching technologies, and founding colonies. Dice determine actions each round as players place them on orbital facilities and alien installations to gain materials, construct colony domes, and expand influence across the planet. Additional faction abilities, agenda cards, and expansion modules introduce new strategies and interaction, offering varied paths to score points through territorial control, technological upgrades, and fleet development. The game supports two to four players and emphasizes planning, resource allocation, and tactical placement.
