玩家开始时拥有代表其剩余影响力的隐藏角色牌，并轮流执行行动或收集金币。 每轮玩家可以执行数种角色行动之一（任何人都可用）、获取收入，或发动政变移除对手的一点影响力；角色行动除非被另一名玩家质疑，否则都会成功。 受到质疑时，玩家必须亮出其所声称的角色，否则失去一点影响力；若亮出的确实是该角色，质疑者将受到惩罚，而亮出的牌则从牌堆中补回一张。 游戏开始前，从更大的角色池中选出五种角色，这会改变可用的能力与策略，并调整虚张声势、推理、谈判与运气之间的平衡。

Coup en esteroides y con muchos personajes, muy original de tema y con muchas combinaciones. Aun así el tema de este tipo de juegos de faroleo máximo aunque a mi me gusten no suelo adquirirlos porque son muy grupo dependientes
hgtonight5.9 While more varied than its predecessor, the roles never interfere with other cards directly leading to a less cohesive experience. This is a game where the "better" player figures out the winning strategy and wins, since there can't be an evolving meta.
