Familiar Tales

Players cooperate as a group of magical familiars charged with protecting and raising a displaced princess across a branching narrative campaign. Gameplay combines deck-building and tactical card play: familiars customize and level up skill decks, use skill cards to resolve combat and interactions, and make choices that shape the princess’s development and the story’s outcome. A companion app serves as the automated storyteller and game master, providing narrated scenes, music, a branching storybook interface, enemy encounters, and a searchable rulebook for campaign play.
