Players reveal cards one at a time, exposing flies in different colors until a trigger occurs: either five colors of fly appear or a fly swatter card shows. At that moment, players race to claim the most common fly color by placing their hands over its cards. The quickest players take those fly cards, which count toward their score. Rounds repeat with new cards, and the player who collects the most flies over the game wins.
