Harmonies: Pulse
A small expansion that makes placement and planning more demanding. It adds new animal cards with varied requirements that increase spatial complexity and introduce three-color pattern goals. Players still use the same core mechanics, but must plan further ahead and fit new pattern constraints into their landscapes. New cards provide extra scoring opportunities while requiring tighter integration with existing elements.

How do I add the Pulse cards during setup?
Shuffle all 10 new Animal cards into the Animal card deck during setup (p. 1).
Can I mirror an Animal card’s pattern, or can I only rotate it?
You may choose the pattern’s orientation and also apply symmetry by mirroring it (p. 1).
Do I mirror every Animal card, including the original cards?
Mirroring does not change how you play the base-game cards; continue playing those as usual. It matters for some of the new cards (p. 1).
Does mirroring matter for all the new Pulse cards?
No. It is important for only some new cards, which have more complex patterns (p. 1).
