The Number

Players simultaneously write a three-digit number each turn and reveal them together across two rounds of five turns. After reveal, numbers are sorted highest to lowest and each entry is checked: a number is approved if none of its digits appear in any lower number, otherwise it is eliminated. Approved numbers score points equal to their first digit, and those used digits are crossed off the player’s board and cannot be used again that round. The game centers on bluffing, risk-taking, and anticipating opponents’ choices as players balance writing high numbers with avoiding shared digits that would nullify their play.
