Players each control a small fantasy kingdom with a unique faction card and tech tree, expanding territory, collecting resources, and exploring modular tiles. Gameplay mixes area control, resource management, research and combat as players recruit population, cast spells, and construct a central tower to defend their realm. The box includes refined rules and clarified faction cards, improved components, exploration tiles, a retreat option in warfare, and an improved two-player variant. Sessions play in a compact, turn-based sequence where conflict and development compete for limited space on the shared map.
