A short, beginner-friendly 18xx set in Alabama where players operate regional railroads and develop routes across the state and neighboring connections. Players buy and sell shares in six major operating companies and acquire five private companies that grant special abilities such as terrain tokens, reduced train costs, named trains, lumber terminals, and coal-field placement. The game uses standard 18xx mechanics: stock rounds to trade shares, operating rounds to run routes and buy trains, and tile-laying to build track and expand cities. Gameplay focuses on company management, route optimization, and leveraging private company perks to grow income and control the map.
