Quest Stories

Players take turns as a bartender who needs to hire a party for a quest while the other players act as recruiters pitching their ragtag teams. Each recruiter presents their adventurers’ strengths and flaws, tells short scenes or details to persuade the bartender, and points out the shortcomings of rival teams. The game is narrative and party-driven, focused on storytelling, bluffing and social interaction rather than mechanics. Rounds are short and rotate the bartender role so each player both pitches teams and judges which ensemble is best suited for the current mission.

1 partida en Jesta 2017. El tabernero encarga una misión y el resto de jugadores le intentarán vender las bondades de 3 mercenarios de pacotilla como que son ideales para esa misión. El tabernero seleccionará los más adecuados, mejor historia, más graciosa o como quiera. Entretenido juego narrativo que premia la imaginación y labia, con un aire al Dixit. No está mal, aunque el ganador es totalmente subjetivo y eso propicia piques.
