In a hidden laboratory, rival professors compete for research funding with a device that can alter the size and atomic composition of objects. Scientists and students carry out experiments while discreetly sabotaging the opposing laboratory. Players use the ray to change the values and sizes of dice in either laboratory. Higher values and smaller dice score more points. Each turn, players select and resolve different actions by assigning scientist and student cards, then recruit a new student. The player with the highest score at the end wins the funding.
