Belratti

Los jugadores toman los roles de compradores y pintores que compiten para reunir obras adecuadas para exposiciones de museo mientras evitan las falsificaciones. En cada ronda, dos cartas de tema establecen las temáticas y los compradores piden una cantidad de pinturas; los pintores eligen de su mano las cartas que mejor encajen con uno de los temas y luego el mazo añade cartas falsas de Belratti. Todas las cartas elegidas se barajan, se revelan boca arriba, y los compradores deben elegir las propuestas auténticas de los pintores dejando las falsas. Los roles rotan en cada ronda y el grupo pierde si los compradores aceptan demasiadas falsificaciones. El juego se centra en la selección de mano, el faroleo mediante la colocación de cartas y la deducción al revelarlas.

In this game, each player is assigned a random role. Either you are a gallerist or a painter. The gallerist players flip 2 cards and then collectively decide how many cards they want. Then the painter players collectively have to produce that number of cards, mentally assigning them to one of the two cards flipped. Then four cards are added from the draw pile secretly. The pile is shuffled and then it's the gallerist's turn to try and logic out which cards go to which faceup card, and which are the "fakes" produced by the randomly added cards. The game ends when gallerists incorrectly assign 6 fakes to the faceup cards. Then you see how many cards the gallerists guessed correctly and score based on how large a pile that is. The game this is most similar to is Mysterium, although there are a number of advantages here. First, there's very little if any downtime. Mysterium is fantastic, but there are long periods where the ghost has to spend time processing the sets and the cards and who gets what. In this game, players are active through out the experience. Also, it's delightful how at the end of the round the role cards rotate, so everyone gets a chance to be both painter and gallerist. There is a little bit of flip luck, in the sense that the four secret cards that get added in from the top of the deck might perfectly match one of the cards, or they might be so completely random that it's obvious what to remove. That being said, since multiple rounds are played, and there's an even chance of it going either way, I think it's fine.
