Luego tienes un mapita en el que tienes que ir expandiéndote, mirando de conseguir los recursos necesarios dependiendo de la loseta que quieras construir y la recompensa que puedas obtener. Quien antes termine de colocar son 10 losetas gana.

This is a race game where players are trying to be the first to place out all of their settlement tiles. The tiles go on a central map, with each space having a different resource cost. To gather the resources, players need a substantial bit of money, and also meeples of the color matching the resources you need. On your turn, you can spin a wheel to see what color meeples you get, spend money and meeples to get resources from the central town board, or build up to three of your tiles paying their costs. There are a lot of cool things happening in this game. There are some spaces that are special and let you place an extra settlement tile for free when you build on them. There are some where if you build next to them you get an extra turn token. Then there's a reward for building a 4th settlement in a straight line. Some spaces have cow tokens on them, which can be spent similar to a wild resource. The central board also only flushes workers once every space in a given area is full, so there's a cool ebb and flow element there in terms of getting the timing right to not spend too much or too little. There's also a mini auction area for extra bonus effects. That being said, the worker production wheel spinner feels like a gimmick. I'm not sure what it adds really, but it doesn't take much away from the game either, so fine. It's also a pure race game, which tend to make me feel more panic-y than entertained. You can gather resources for a particular series of spaces, and then have someone come along and build in those spots, and you just have to try and be flexible for when that happens. There aren't so many different resources in the game that it's a problem, but it certainly pushes up against my comfort zone in terms of the binary nature of 'be the first to win' race games. The big appeal for me is that the game does have a lot of decisions and a short play time, so I'm going to give this a few more plays before I decide if I can handle this type of stress in a game or not. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ☆ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment
