Trepanation

Players portray fraudulent physicians staging sensational medical shows in a fictional early-19th-century town. Over six days they book time slots at venues, acquire medicine and equipment, recruit accomplices, bribe officials, and arrange performances that draw paying spectators. Actions resolve according to each player’s scheduled slots, so timing and slot selection matter. Players can disrupt rivals by creating shortages, stealing audiences, or occupying key spaces; night actions such as grave-robbing yield cash but harm reputation. Fame is earned for successful shows, themed set bonuses, and press mentions; the player with the most fame after six days wins.
