Dreadful Meadows

Players take the role of confectioners cultivating sinister candy crops on a patchwork meadow. On each turn they sow and place candy patches, grow harvests, and expand their meadow to increase production. Magic Sugar Sprites grant special abilities while Harvesters speed up turnover, and crafted Candy is spent to discover new Concoctions. Limited actions and patch types force players to make calculated choices about expansion, sprite and harvester use, and which recipes to pursue. Different confectioner powers and strategic paths create varied games and emergent combinations each play.
