Everdell

Players lead a growing community of woodland creatures, developing a city of constructions and critters beneath ancient trees. On each turn a player either places a worker on common board locations, events, or destination cards to gather resources, draw cards, or trigger special actions; plays cards into a personal tableau of buildings and characters that produce resources, grant abilities, and score points; or prepare for the next season by retrieving workers and gaining additional ones. The game cycles through seasons, and players balance resource management, card synergies, and timing to build the most valuable city by the end of winter.

What did I miss? The tree is totally useless and doesn't make it better regarding the theme. There is not much theme in this game. There is so much luck, especially the starting hand. We were 3 players, 2 of us had bad luck with the starting hand (no combos), the other player had luck and could make many combos and played much longer in the first phase than the other 2 did. So it was already clear who will win even before we entered spring phase... The main thing is about to get cards which will get you ressources and matching buildings with creatures. If you can't get those you're out. No chance against other who can build such combos. And building those is pure luck. The cards look nice, but that doesn't make a good game. And it's a multiplayer solitaire par excellence! Nobody cares what the other do. Posso fare più di un'azione nel mio turno (per esempio piazzare un lavoratore e anche giocare una carta)?

No — nel tuo turno puoi compiere solo una azione: piazzare un lavoratore, giocare una carta o prepararti per la stagione; il gioco procede in senso orario con un’azione per turno (pagina 8).

Quando preparo la Stagione, i miei lavoratori tornano indietro? E quando ricevo i nuovi lavoratori/bonus stagionali?

Quando ti Prepari alla Stagione, recuperi da solo tutti i lavoratori che hai piazzato, poi ottieni i nuovi lavoratori e il bonus indicato per quella stagione (primavera: +1 lavoratore e attivi le Produzioni verdi; estate: +1 lavoratore e puoi pescare fino a 2 Meadow; autunno: +2 lavoratori e attivi le Produzioni verdi) (pagine 12–13).

Se gioco un Critter gratis perché ho la Costruzione collegata, devo pagare qualcosa? E a cosa serve il token occupato?

Puoi giocare quel Critter senza pagare il costo indicato, ma quando lo fai devi piazzare un segnalino occupato sulla Costruzione संबंधित — ogni Costruzione può essere usata in questo modo solo una volta (pagina 10).

Le carte Evento contano nel mio limite di 15 carte della città?

No — la tua città ha un massimo di 15 spazi carta per le carte giocate, e le carte Evento che ottieni vengono posizionate accanto alla tua città e non contano nel limite di 15 carte (pagina 11).

Gli altri giocatori possono piazzare lavoratori sulle mie carte Destinazione, e cosa succede se lo fanno?

Sì — gli avversari possono piazzare un lavoratore sulle carte Destinazione che mostrano il simbolo OPEN; quando visitano una Destinazione nella tua città, il proprietario guadagna 1 gettone punto dalla riserva (pagina 9).
