I giocatori controllano leggendari artisti marziali che si uniscono per opporsi a una misteriosa organizzazione globale attraverso una serie di scenari. Il gameplay utilizza miniature dettagliate, mazzi unici per ogni combattente e nemico, dadi personalizzati e combattimenti dinamici in cui i giocatori coordinano mosse, abilità speciali e posizionamento per completare gli obiettivi e sconfiggere i leader delle fazioni. Gli scenari propongono obiettivi variabili e forze nemiche in continua evoluzione, con modalità cooperativa per 1–4 partecipanti e regole modulari che adattano la difficoltà e la struttura delle missioni.

    There is just too much rules overhead on each individual card that needs to be tracked. When I play a game like Gloomhaven, I'm thinking mostly about strategy, tactics, positioning. Playing Street Masters, I'm thinking about card interactions, reading what each individual card does when it activates (because each unique card is different). Even in true solo play, there are too many cards to track. Some of the combinations of characters, enemies, and bosses are very difficult without expressly being difficult, making you feel frustrated.
