The Name of the Rose

Experience/game with mechanics that not fit the storytelling. Too mechanical and too much clean-up phases for a game that could last for 30 minutes or an hour and be way funnier. Also, the rules are not easy to check and do not solve some mechanical problems the game has like really long loops. It is kind of a nice prototype

#15 Funny deduction game that comes to life if you play it with the right group. But it definitely needs a little sheet where you could write down some of your findings. Otherwise it's just pure guessing/luck at the end of the game. Unfortunately it's not about seeking a murderer, it's about finding out who is which monk. Kind of old flavoured game. A very different Feld very clever and original with good theme. Bluffing and deduction with interesting mechanics. Very fun to play with 4-5 players.
