Hanamikoji
Players compete over the favor of seven geishas by collecting each geisha’s preferred performance items. On a turn, a player chooses one of several action options that forces specific card exchanges or placements, then resolves the resulting item allocations. The game plays over a series of rounds in which players draft and hide item cards, deduce the opponent’s intentions, and use limited-information tactics to claim geisha favors. Scoring is determined by which player has majority influence for each geisha at game end.

Vic Granell8.5 Super clever design in a very small package! Quick to learn and to play, but every decision is hard and excruciating. Highly recommended!
Vesper9.0 Picked up at Essen 2016 after scouting the big annual list. Definitely worth waiting for for 45 minutes in the queue of people hunting for unpicked preorders. Beautiful aesthetics, very simple & deep gameplay, a great 2 player mini-game.
Mohasz7.0 Easily the best depth / amount of components ratio I've seen. This game is just beyond clever. This game never fails to fascinate me when we pull it out. That said, I always feel kinda dumb when playing it. The indirect card play and the 'I split, you choose' element are quite hard to wrap your head around. 7.9 -> 7.0 I still appreciate the ingenuity of the design, but for some reason, I really don't feel like playing this nowadays.
ルールに関する質問
Ludoyaのルールアシスタントがルールブックに基づいて回答しています。
Do I draw a card before I pick an action on my turn or after?
You must draw a card from the Item deck, and then perform an action; there is no fixed action order. (p. 2)
Can I use the same action marker more than once in the round?
No — when you use a face-up action marker you flip it face-down and you may not choose face-down markers; each of your 4 action markers is used only once that round. (p. 2)
What happens to cards I put under Trade-off — are they gone forever this round?
Place the 2 chosen cards face-down under the Trade-off marker and they will not be scored this round (you may still look at them). (p. 2)
When I play Gift or Competition, who gets which cards?
For Gift you place 3 face-up: your opponent picks 1 and places it on their side next to the corresponding Geisha, and you place the other 2 on your side; for Competition you place 4 face-up split into two sets, your opponent chooses one set to place on their side and you take the other set — those placed cards are scored. (p. 2)
When is my Secret card revealed and can I look at it before scoring?
Secret cards are placed face-down and “will be revealed in the Scoring phase and be scored,” but you are allowed to check (look at) your secret card at any time. (p. 2)
How do I win the game and how are Charm Points / Geisha wins counted?
You win by winning 4 Geisha or reaching 11 or more Charm Points; a player wins a Geisha if they have more Item Cards of that Geisha’s corresponding type than the opponent, and Charm Points equal the number of matching Item Cards (as shown on the cards). (p. 1)
