Stubborn Mules

Players race a set of colored mules and a smaller number of uniquely colored men along a track, trying to influence which token crosses last or first. Each turn three color dice are rolled and the matching tokens move; doubles send a token back one space and triples push that color three spaces forward. On a following turn a player may lock one or two dice and reroll the rest, allowing intentional follow-up moves and limited catch-up play. The winner depends on the final token left on the board: if a man is the last piece, the first finisher wins, but if a mule is last the mule’s controller wins, so players balance advancing their own piece against manipulating others.
