Players cultivate fields to collect goods, build shrines, recruit priests, and sacrifice harvested goods to appease gods and ancestral spirits. Priests both assist in sacrifices and repel demons that threaten the island. Scoring balances construction, successful sacrifices, and managing risks; two optional variants add a demon that stirs trouble and an oracle that influences choices.
