Crisps!

Players race to be the first to empty their hand by playing single cards, sets, runs, or runs of pairs in a climbing/shedding sequence. Each play must be beaten by the next player with the same rank or higher, and players may pass and then are required to draw. After a trick resolves, the trick winner first chooses one card either face-up or from a face-down pile, and the trick loser draws the remaining card. Special combo types exist that can be led or played over other combos or over the highest-ranked single or set, creating tactical opportunities during play. Designed for two players, the game recombines familiar climbing mechanics into a compact, card-driven contest of hand management and timing.
