Zodiac Duel

Two rival fortune tellers settle their rivalry by dueling with the twelve zodiac signs. The game plays in two phases: a draft where each player builds a tableau of five fighters and three stars from a shared pool of dual-purpose cards (each card can be kept as either a fighter or a star, not both). In the duel phase players resolve up to five head-to-head contests, using fighters’ sign-specific abilities and placing stars to modify individual duels. The first player to win three duels wins the match.

La primera vez que lo probé me gustó mucho, y sólo había jugado con las cartas básicas. Ahora que lo tenemos en casa le hemos dado unas partidas también con las avanzadas y nos está decepcionando un poquito. Algunas reglas no son claras y tenemos la sensación de que los duelos se quedan a medio gas...Algunos duelos son épicos y otros son meh, que son la mayoría. Vamos a seguir probando y configurando nuestra "propia baraja" a ver si es que no hemos acabado de pillarle el punto. El arte del juego es maravilloso.

Un bon joc d'estratègia i draft per a dues persones on el nucli del joc rau en la bona elecció de les cartes. Molta rejugabilitat i gran varietat de combinacions per explorar. És necessari jugar un parell o tres de partides abans no s'aconsegueix traçar una estratègia amb coherència.
