Taberna

Players act as rival innkeepers in the capital during a major holiday, hosting patrons who move from tavern to tavern. Each round, a customer card from one of four social groups is chosen and placed into one of five taverns; tavern owners earn gold and the hosting innkeeper gains rewards for meeting patron expectations. On a turn, a player may also play one of four dignitaries, cast spells, spend royal favours, and use special privileges to influence customer placement and scoring. After six rounds, players score members of the Royal Court in a predetermined sequence, with popularity among the four social groups determining scoring order and final bonuses.
