Unmatched: Battle of Legends Volumen Dos

Do I have to take two actions on my turn, and can they be the same?

Yes — you must take exactly two actions each turn (you may not skip an action) and you may choose the same action twice. (Rulebook p.8)

When I take a Maneuver, do I have to draw a card, and what happens if my deck is empty?

Drawing during a Maneuver is mandatory; if your deck is empty your fighters become exhausted and, if you need to draw while exhausted, do not reshuffle — instead each of your fighters immediately takes 2 damage. (Rulebook p.9)

Can I discard a card to BOOST even if the card's listed fighter is defeated or the card couldn't legally be played?

Yes — you may discard any card from your hand to BOOST movement (or other BOOSTable values) even if the card could no longer legally be played; when boosting ignore the discarded card's effect. (Rulebook p.10)

What order do IMMEDIATELY, DURING, and AFTER card effects resolve, and does the defender ever resolve first?

Resolve IMMEDIATELY effects first, then DURING COMBAT effects, then determine combat damage, then resolve AFTER COMBAT effects; if two effects would resolve at the same time, the defender's effect resolves before the attacker's. (Rulebook p.12)

If a fighter is reduced to 0 health during combat, do their AFTER COMBAT effects still happen, and does the game end immediately?

AFTER COMBAT effects still resolve even if that fighter is defeated during the combat, as long as the defeat does not end the game; however, if a hero is reduced to zero health their controller immediately loses. (Rulebook pp.12, 14)

How do bonus attacks work — can they target a defender who's moved out of range or who was defeated in the first attack?

If a bonus attack is triggered it resolves as a new attack targeting the same defender even if they are no longer a valid target, but no bonus attack occurs if the defender was defeated during the first attack; cancelling the AFTER COMBAT effect (e.g., with Feint) also prevents the bonus attack. (Rulebook p.17)
