Amalfi: Renaissance

Players act as merchants in a declining Renaissance port, using a small fleet of ships both to move around the map and to store goods. Ships serve as action pawns and resource depots; managing which items are loaded where affects available actions and future options. Players explore charts to reach better destinations, collect paints, books, and monuments to gain honor and bonuses, recruit famous historical figures for strategic benefits, and build additional ships to increase workforce and action capacity. The game runs four rounds and scores points for collected items, constructions, and achievements, with the highest total determining the winner.
