There are way too many mechanisms in the game that don't add up to more fun. The game is very (!) beautifully designed though. But overall it's not a game that I would recommend.

Domande sulle regole

How much Coffee can I hold and when can I spend it?

You can hold up to 6 Coffee and spend it on the listed anytime uses (1/2/3 Coffee costs for those effects); see the Coffee rules and anytime uses (page 12).

What exactly triggers the end of the game?

The game ends when the Reputation track reaches its end (the track’s end-game trigger); see the game overview and Reputation track end-game trigger (pages 9 and 11).

When I place an Idea on the Meeting Table, do I resolve that space’s action and what happens with the Inkpot?

Placing Ideas (and Bright Ideas) on the Meeting Table resolves the space’s action (some triggers may resolve up to twice when applicable) and then advances/modifies the Inkpot, which can unlock notebook columns/rows or trigger Reputation effects (pages 13–15).

If I move the Professor/Freud to a Location, how many times do I get that Location’s effect?

When you move the Professor or Freud you may trigger a Location’s effect multiple times—up to five times—by counting figures or tags as specified (page 18).

When I Treat a Client, do I have to spend all Therapy points at once to cure them, and what are Catharsis and Cure?

Treating follows the procedure for one or both Clients where you apply Therapy points to the therapy track; Catharsis and Cure are outcomes of that process and grant the listed benefits and icons when achieved according to the Treat Clients rules (pages 20–21).
