Dune: Imperium – Insurrezione

Balance military force and political maneuvering while expanding the toolkit available to each player. Players deploy agents to locations, build and refine personal decks, play cards to gain resources and influence, and commit troops to combat for control of key areas. New options include espionage actions, contract cards for additional resources, and faction-specific abilities such as Fremen units and sandworm deployment. Supports solo and multiplayer play and adds a six-player team mode that divides players into opposing sides. Components and many cards are compatible with the earlier game and its expansions for optional mixing.

I'm biased. What brought me here is my love for Dune. Go and play this game 5 times. If you don't like it, then this complexity in strategy games isn't for you. This game offers such a fun challenge that's different every time you play. We still haven't gotten bored with 2p. Add the Bloodlines expansion for more content and mechanics that fit into this game seamlessly. Get ready for fun competition and epic finishes that always pay off. Learn new strategies and improve. 9.5/10.

Domande sulle regole

Risposte tratte dal regolamento dall'assistente per le regole di Ludoya.

Can I place an Agent on a space that already has another player's agent?

No — when you take an Agent turn you play a card to place an Agent on a matching, unoccupied space; you cannot place on a space already occupied unless a card or ability specifically allows it. (p. 9)

When do Reveal turns happen and what do I resolve on a Reveal?

A Reveal turn happens when you choose Reveal instead of placing an Agent: reveal your hand, resolve Reveal effects and gain Persuasion, set your combat strength, then perform cleanup. (pp. 8, 12)

How is combat strength calculated and what happens in ties?

You set combat strength during the Reveal (base combat icons from cards/board plus troops/sandworms and any played Combat Intrigue cards are added); resolve Combat rewards per the Combat phase rules and apply tie-resolution and battle-icon rules for ties. (pp. 12, 14)

How do Spies work — where can I place them and can I recall them?

Spies are placed using Spy-specific Agent options (Infiltrate/Gather Intelligence) and occupy spy spaces with their own placement and recall rules; they are recalled according to the Spy placement/recall procedure described. (p. 11)

What is Persuasion and how do I spend it?

Persuasion is the currency you gain on a Reveal to purchase cards and spend on the Imperium Row or other card acquisitions; after purchases the Imperium Row is refilled per the card acquisition rules. (p. 13)

How do sandworms affect Combat rewards — do they double rewards?

Sandworms can affect Combat rewards — certain sandworm effects double rewards for the Combat or change reward placement, and Makers’ sandworm interactions are explained in the Combat and Makers examples. (pp. 14–15)
