Cangaceiros

In north-eastern Brazil during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, gangs of Cangaceiros resist the corruption and abuse of powerful landowners while being hunted by the state police known as the Volantes. Each player leads a gang through hostile desert territories, managing a seven-card deck to gather resources, guard regions, attack the Volantes, raid the prison in Recife, recruit members, and train a chief with unique abilities. Fame is earned through these actions and by fulfilling the chief’s life goal, with the most fame determining the winner.
