18世纪中叶的欧洲，多个强国组成的联盟威胁着普鲁士：一名玩家指挥腓特烈大帝，其他玩家则控制入侵的各个国家。玩家在一张风格化的“旧欧洲”地图上调动将军，争夺城市和省份，并使用战术卡牌来触发战斗、机动和特殊事件。普鲁士玩家必须守住关键省份的部分地区才能生存，而进攻方则要完成各自国家的目标并协调攻势。游戏在长期布局与卡牌驱动的机会之间取得平衡；国家可能会被淘汰，但玩家本人不会因命运牌而出局。规则力求营造历史氛围，同时保持规则精简并具备丰富的战术深度。

I find the movement and battle system to be quite intriguing. Love the fact that you need to position your generals on the map according to where your hand indicate you are the strongest. You also need to remember what type of suit players earlier than you in turn order played during their last fight to give you an indication to where they may be the weakest. The negatives for me was the long playtime compared to how much I feel I do every turn. I also felt really bad for the French and Russian player as the Fate cards sometimes punish them severly souring the gameplay for everyone.
