Nuns on the Run
Players take on roles in a convent at night: most are novices sneaking through corridors to fulfill a secret wish, while one or two control the Abbess or Prioress patrolling for misbehavior. Novices move in secret by marking hidden movement and locations as they search for keys, treasures or the specific spot that grants their wish and then try to return to their room undetected. The Abbess and Prioress follow regulated patrol paths but can diverge to chase or investigate noises and sightings. The group that completes a required number of wishes and returns to bed wins, or the patrolling officers win by catching enough novices.

Fun hidden movement game. Great time!
Tom6.5 Exciting game, most players really get into this very well. You do need a good guard player in order to keep things interesting and the game can sometimes end in an anti climax when someone 'suddenly' wins. We use a couple of house rules: - Randomize starting cells after players chose their color. This prevent players from using the same strategy over several games if they always start in the same spot. - Novices must start their turn in their cell with their secret wish in order to win. This prevents a player from running into their cell right in front of one of the nuns' nose. I have noticed that there is a problem with the game in that there is often one player that, by luck of his path and secret wish, is always out of the way of the nuns and wins the game running. Therefore I am considering adding the house rule to let novices make more noise when they pass a door. I hope this will make the hole the nuns leave a bit smaller. An alternative idea would be to force novices to count noise distance from the closest space they were to the nuns instead of from their end space.
2 plays so far. This is a lot of fun. I think it would be even better with more than 3 people however...
