玩家轮流拍卖动物牌组顶端的牌，或与另一名玩家发起盲换。每种动物都有四张，玩家的目标是通过赢得拍卖，或通过盲换、同时出价来交换动物，集齐完整套牌。 拍卖采用公开竞价；出价最高者获胜，但拍卖者也可以按最高出价买下这只动物。交易时，双方将出价牌面朝下放置，同时翻开，然后交换动物牌，并支付牌上标示的金额。游戏策略在于判断对手的意图、调整出价以集齐套牌，同时妥善管理资金。
